I was at the terrace,
Looking at the Sky,
Which shined like a Jewel,
Reminding me of your eyes.
The Stars shined brighter and sparkled like they never had done.
I remembered how my eyes sparkled when I looked into your big, brown eyes which are so perfect that they make me cry.
Tired from being away from you,
I went to my room, and saw the sky bloom.
I looked at it for the last time and took a deep breath.
Closed the shutters, and went to rest.
In the middle of the night,
Something hit my window and left me startled.
There was a thud again,
Making me wonder if someone was throwing stones to call me upon the window's wall.
I opened the window with shivering hands,
And my eyes saw what they have felt when you touched my soul.
It was Raining,
But there wasn't any water.
The stars dropped like water,
And they didn't stop.
I felt your warmth and the feeling of your absence.
I felt your smile right next to me, and I felt the tear roll down on me.
I stuck my hand, out to the Horizon.
Grabbing a star, I blocked my eyes.
It shined so bright, that it enlightened my room just like your smile.
I felt your hand, in my palm.
I felt your arm, around my arm.
I felt your breath, against my skin.
And I felt your lips, against my skin.
I hugged the star, and I cried it all.
I missed you more than anything,
Even the stars knew.
I don't know if I ever crossed your mind in the light,
But you stay put, whenever I try to move you out of mine.
I remember looking out of the window,
With the unclear vision,
Saw the light trails hit the ground,
And smiled with tears running by.
I felt happy, I felt sad.
I felt hopeless, and I felt like a prey.
All of these, yet you were not,
And yet in absence,
I felt the presence of your love in my soul.
