THANKYOU MR BISPING. This is the only way to remember Michael "The Count" Bisping since he has decided to officially retire from the sport of MMA. A sport that he has helped to grow and grown with since his UFC debut in 2006. Winner of the Ultimate Fighter 3 as a light heavyweight. Bisping immediately caused a stir with his typically brash British bravado. Never one to shy away from the spotlight Bisping spent most of his career in the middle tier of the Division. A gate keeper most would agree. He wohld always falter when faced with the elite in the division. Known for always turning up to fight anyone anywhere, his career finally came full circle when he violently and shockingly won the Middleweight title from Luke Rockhold at UFC 199. Most people would agree that at one stage it seemed like he would never receive the title shot he so patiently waited on. Then after a unanimous victory over G.O.A.T candidate Anderson Silva and an Injury to Chris Weidman, the Count was then asked to step in on 2 weeks notice to fight for his legacy. Nobody gave him a shot and yet there he was at the end of the fight celebrating with his family. He had reached his Everest. And After 29 fights in the UFC (tied 1st with Jim Miller) and 20 wins (Most in UFC History) The above photo should be the only way we remember him. A champion, A modern day warrior and soon to be Hall OF Famer. A Legend.
