I had my second mammogram today. I want to encourage anyone who is waiting, putting it off, or scared that it really isn't as bad as you think. I have met too many women this year who either are living with or who have beat breast cancer to know how important it is to be checked. I will be sharing the stories of the wonderful women from the breast cancer awareness shoot soon! Did you know Premier Health/Miami Valley has the 3D imaging mammography? #lostandfoundrentals#mammogram#thinkpink#miamivalleyhospital#breastcancerawareness

Friday night I stayed the night with mom and I enjoyed just being there visiting and helping her 💕. I also got to do something unforgettable that I loved! A women came in wanting to change moms wound dressing and I stayed in to watch. Mom was telling her how I'm an STNA (State Tested Nurses Aide) and how I'm going to school in the fall. The women asked if I could help and stuff and she was educating me and telling me stories about how she used to work in the burn unit. I got to help the lady clean moms wound out, put the sponge in and hold the skin around the sponge to put tape over it, and a few other things! Mom was talking about how she was proud of me and saying that was an unforgettable experience for the both of us. 💕☺ The wound is 21 cms long, 6 cms wide, and 4 cms deep
Many thanks to our own Mr. Steve for setting up all of the agencies who came to share with us on our Hero Day. A definite crowd favorite for me and the kids would be amazing and awesome Miami Valley care flight. They had to leave in a hurry because they got a call to go save someone's life. 👍🏼#miamivalleyhospital#careflight#mvh#heroes#lovemyschool
