I've been reflecting on my year and it's hit me that it has been probably the toughest and most rewarding year of my career and life up to this point. I've met and worked with incredible couples and taken part in many different cultures. I've witnessed and shared quite a few tears of joy, something I'll never take for granted.
On a more personal side, this year we purchased our first house, not without it's dilemmas and stresses. But most importantly, I got engaged, skyrocketing me into the world of planning a wedding. I feel now more than ever connected with my brides and grooms because now my "expertise" goes into a completely different level. I find myself needing to hear the advice that I give couples on a regular basis, "Don't sweat the small stuff" "Make sure your scheduling for the day allows a little break" and many more things. I'm so looking forward to this next chapter of my life and excited to share my new found knowledge with my couples! I promise to keep you all in the loop.
