On September 8th I decided to do something I’ve never done before, and really give everything I have towards my fitness. I discovered #MetaShredExtreme . @Bjgaddour @Menshealthmag created this incredible program after #metashred. On #MetaShredExtreme I lost 20.8 pounds in 8 weeks. Before: 186 lbs, After: 165.2 lbs. Physically and mentally I’m an entirely different person. My relationship with food and the way I train are so different. Thanks to @BJGaddour and #MetaShredExtreme I’m faster, stronger, and actually competing at a higher level in my OCR racing.

This is only 8 weeks of hard work. Let’s see what another 8 weeks can do. Who’s with me?

#WorkoutWednesday with this MetaHIIT Lower Body Workout! Alternate between 20 seconds of the high-intensity variation and 40 seconds of the low-intensity variation. That's 1 round. Do 5-10 rounds for each MetaHIIT routine.
MetaHIIT 1

High-intensity variation: alternating stepup jump

Low-intensity variation: alternating stepup
MetaHIIT 2

High-intensity variation: box squat jump

Low-intensity variation: box squat
MetaHIIT 3

High-intensity variation: alternating split squat jump

Low-intensity variation: alternating forward lunge

You can also add any one of these to the end of your workout as a finisher if you don't want to treat it as a full workout. Few years ago when i started , i thought it is really hard to keep moving ,and lose weight!

After all these years i know one thing for sure....it is waaaaaay mote difficult to stop than to start .

The best part is a certain mindset...that mindset that you have to develop regardless what problems are hitting you.
It is how you fall and rise again....getting through hard times,injuries or sickness.

SINGLE-LEG SUICIDE! Perform each move for 50 seconds of work and 10 seconds of rest:
1️⃣Mini-Band/Hip Circle Hip Thrust
2️⃣Bulgarian Hip Hinge
3️⃣Bulgarian Split Squat
4️⃣Band Leg Curl
Rest a minute and switch sides. Do 2-3 rounds/side. For single-leg work, I like loads or variations that that challenge you in the 10-20 rep range (though you can go heavier for lower reps too). Due to the cumulative fatigue of competitive moves, a pair of 30-pound dumbbells lit me up. This routine only takes 30 minutes. It's easy on the knees and hard on the glutes.
