Part one The explanation. On Friday March 9th, 2018 my grandmother past away at the age of 94. She would have been 95 come August 11th. At the time I was making advances in my life. I was a part of a youth advocacy counsel and volunteered my time to tutor on Saturday mornings (I encourage you all to do this act of service in volunteering to your local community). Nevertheless, I left to spend time with my grandma. In the last two weeks of my grandmother's life, I told her everything that I would accomplish and I sang to her for the final few days, including the last Thursday of her life. I was already battling Depression before hand but experiencing this loss sent me further (which is a normal stage of grief and loss). I took on a different perspective to life and it was a very dark one. For example, "we live to die anyway, so what is the point of loving anyone knowing that they will die? What is the point in living life know at any moment, by personal choice, expected or unexpected, I can die. And I wanted to die.
