🦌 Bucked Up Pre-Workout and Racked BCAA Review 🦌

Yesterday was my first time using Bucked Up pre-workout and the first real test of the BCAAs. I’d been sick after the first try so it’s hard to compare. Anyway, let’s get to the important stuff.

THE PUMP - So Bucked Up has only 200mg of caffeine which, as far as pre goes, is pretty low. It’s definitely not something I’d say “woke me up” but the other ingredients made for a really good pump. With the rock salt and citrulline malate in this I saw a HUGE increase in blood flow/vascularity. For being shoulders I walked out of there looking like Bane.

THE POST/AFTER EFFECTS - So it was shoulders which is one of my shortest days. With the rotator cuff tweak and the general smaller muscle part I’m in the gym about 45 minutes to an hour. I’d say that I felt the effects start slowing around the 40 minute mark. Good thing was that I was drinking the RACKED as a post so I just started that a little early and it helped push things through. Definitely a good little pre-workout, especially if you like low stim high function.

THE TASTE - Blood Raz is the flavor I’ve got as sample packs to hand out. I have to say, one of the best tasting pres on the market that I’ve tried. My big issue though is how bubbly it gets when you mix it. That’s my only flavor critique because those are gross.

Overall I’d give the Bucked Up pre-workout a solid 7 out of 10. It scores high on taste, quality and ingredients, but was lacking in that pre-workout rush I’m used to. They do offer Woke AF though which is high stim so might have to try that.

THE OVERHEAD PRESS Poor starting position vs strong starting position.
ON THE LEFT
Loose abdominals - potential for hyperextension of the lumbar
Elbows tucked back - turn the press into two movements rather than a straight drive
Knees/hips internally rotated - through predominantly an ‘upper body’ movement the OHP still requires full core and glute engagement just like any other compound movement
ON THE RIGHT
Core engaged - rib cage tucked down and abdominals turned on ready to stabilise the body
Elbows tucked in front - straight drive back past the head in a single line.
Knees/hips externally rotated - keeping the glute switched on to ensure total stability and control throughout the entire body
