I’m over the moon because I led my first trad pitch today. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t get scared—cling to the wall and linger on ledges—it was far from the most graceful climbing I’ve done. It was nerve-RACKing magic and definitely sparked what I expect to be a lifelong love of trad.

PROUD!!! That’s what my face shows! Proud af that I finished, proud that I didn’t throw up, and to say I’m proud that I didn’t give up on myself💪🏻🙌🏻 hot yoga is something that I can say now I can check off my bucket list. 100 degree temperature room with 20 something other ladies. It was such a huge mental game that as we were laying there completely still at the end I cried. I said to myself that if I can do this I can do anything. You won’t grow unless you get out of your comfort zone. I don’t want to just sit back and say “no thanks”. I want to be that girl that will try anything and say “YES”. 1 hour of my day focusing on myself and my body was such a great feeling. 4kms in soft sand with my training partner, who's looking rather pleased 😍!!! Done and dusted!!! And some how I'm not even puffed!!! There was a time where just walking in the sand had me dying, let alone running!! The thought of running was like torture to me!!!
My aim was to keep a good constant pace, no matter how much my lungs were crying out, no matter how much I couldn't breath, no matter how much snot was pouring out of my nose, no matter how much I was wanting to stop!!! I concentrated on deep breathing through my nose ONLY to get me.through!
In a fight there is NO giving up, no matter how tired you are, no matter how much you want to stop, you must learn to push through!! Practice this in training so that it.becomes natural!!! Mental strength is just as important as physical strength!!!

Because even during that other 10%, when it isn’t just a story and maybe it actually is true, you at least have the realization and permission to let go.

I’ve asked myself this question during so many points in my life when I needed to take a risk, create change, push further, break through, or when I was just simply struggling.

How many of you have ever been upset over a break-up?

I know I have.
Plenty of times
Back then I couldn't see anything other then loss.
So, like anyone who loses something, I got upset.
I tried to hang on to the thing I loved,
I fought, cried, and pleaded to hold onto it.
Which is a normal response to lose of something you love...
If you would have told me then to trust that there was a purpose
That something better would be brought into my life...
I wouldn't have believed you or even wanted to believe you.
Looking back at all the times I have done this is funny now....
Thank God for those break-ups.
If those break-ups never happened
I wouldn't have the kind, loving man that i have now
I wouldn't have this satisfying, healthy relationship.

The point of this story is that sometimes in order for growth and abundance, we might have to lose some things.
Things that are holding us back growth
That no longer are serving us.
.
My message is this... TRUST that there is a purpose for your loss,
for your pain.
That the universe is making room for growth and abundance in your life.
Allow it to MAKE ROOM for the better relationship, the better friend, the better job....

Sometimes it’s a need, sometimes it’s a want. Today it was purely to not disappoint myself or my trainer, and because I’m making it a habit.
Really tough week with a toddler. Hubby is away, and kiddo is going through some stuff. Teething, growth spurt, developmental stuff.. who knows. But it’s been trying.
Running in 85 degree weather today was basically the last thing I wanted to do. But I did it anyway. It sucked. However, after it was over and I stopped sweating, I felt so much better. Mood changer.
