Normally on day 3 of my menstrual cycle my energy levels are starting to rise, but today? I've been up since 4am (I'd like to say it's because I'm one of those super-spiritual people who gets up to do their practice in those super-sweet ambrosia hours but no, today, I had a snoring husband + my womb was dropping out my vagina in a very over-dramatic fashion.) So, consider this my assumed position + response to ANY thing + anyone today. the past week in Canada was SO amazing and I defo over indulged in some not-so-great food. now my period is here and I'm in PAINNNNN. -
my periods haven't hurt me for the past couple years; they come and go and I hardly notice them (compared to me being in total agony before going plant based). it's woman's natural time for detoxing and if it hurts, it probably means some diet/lifestyle changes need to be made 🙏🏾 so it makes sense that I'm in discomfort following a week long cookie/donut/burger/pizza diet 😐. here are a couple of my period essentials: organic pads ✨, green juice 🍏🥒🍋, light/moderate exercise 👟and plenty of GOOD QUALITY water 🙏🏾 -

I've been super awol lately. But that's mainly because these have been pretty good. However I feel a little without footing. There's things I'm supposed to be doing but I'm a little lost. I need to figure out how to get my feet back on the ground and get back into my routine of self care. In general things are good for me. I got a good talking to from my partner about my social behaviours and my fear of connecting with people, he's ofcourse correct, but I don't like that particular wall being brought down even a little, it's too much. Today is the autumnal equinox so I've done a home cleansing and had a nice meal of roasted root veggies. I'm getting premenstrual a little early this month but I'm handling it. Autumn is the Earth Mothers own premenstrual time so we're in alignment.
