“Don't compare your progress with that of others. We all need our own time to travel our own distance.” – Jerry Corstens . . Your practice is unique to yourself and you only. Everyone will have their own interpretations and variations based on body, learnings, intentions and mood 👌❤️ That is why when the hosts of #BodyYogaLove set the themes for each day, we wanted YOU to do what YOU needed to send love to self, instead of prescribed set asanas. Thank you for joining us on this journey, and we hope you’ve learned a little more (and a little more thankful) of all the amazing parts that make up YOU. . • MOVING MEDITATION • Can you trust the intelligence and architecture of your physical body so much that your movement leads you into space before you think it? Like the kind of reflex when your hands move away from touching a really hot surface, but sustained for a longer period of time without conditions of stress. • That’s where ‘moving meditation’ happens for me. • This was a #throwback to a little wander of my body in #flow when I allowed my myself to #listen and be led by what comes. Dance? Yoga? Who knows? Who cares? It feels GOOD not just in my body but very nourishing in my mind and I believe that’s what matters! • Here’s where you can find me today: 12.30p @anotherspace_london 5.30p @chromayoga 7.15p & 8.30p @moveyourframe (KX) • Do you have a similar experience to share? • ⌛️ 8x speed 🎪 @chromayogauk 🎶 Perff by F.S. Obviously I would like to start with prayers for Mexico and Puerto Rico...the devastation to both wonderful countries and their wonderful people...immense. Their repair begins and the battle is uphill. One thing people in a personal tragedy often suffer thru in the aftermath is guilt. Yes guilt...It's unexplainable but there is a period of time where some people in the end of such a time often blame themselves although the matter is completely out of their hands. You think there was something you did..said...could've done to prevent what happened. No one can say what will get lost in a catastrophe but many times afterwards people will suffer from a variety of emotions thinking there was something they could've done to either prevent or minimize the damage. When we moved here 11 years ago I was the one who insisted on it. For nearly 10 years it seemed like a good move. When we suffered our loss I instantly blamed myself for moving us here and I did for a very long time. I still feel badly when I see what my wife still goes thru.
