Ever read "Choose Your Own Adventure" books when you were a kid?
Yesterday I did a bit of a real life choose your own adventure when I got off the trail and scaled a steep, rocky hill just so I could get a better view. The view from the top was definitely worth it too. I was hoping for a better sunset, but the nice golden light was more than satisfying.
I also discovered that if I followed the piles of deer poop down the hill, I didn't have to work as hard to find my way. Those animals definitely know the best way up and down the mountains. Pro tip: use deer poop like Hansel and Gretel used bread crumbs to find your way home.
