I'm determined to stay active and maintain as much as possible during this pregnancy.. but let me be clear - I'm doing it in a safe and controlled manner. I have been lifting heavy for YEARS, therefore my body is accustomed to it. I'm not going heavy enough to require a belt or cause any unnecessary pain or strain. However, I am going to continue to train consistently. I've got 275 loaded on the pendulum squat here, and my 4 sets of 10 were at an RPE of about 6 out of 10. I also take a little bit longer on my rest breaks to make sure I'm not over doing it.
