It’s not like I wasn’t busy before Fiona, but having a third seems to have filled in every extra little crevice of time I actually had! And I know I’m not the only one feeling like this —some days doesn’t it feel like every minute is spent just trying to move forward without anybody being cold, wet, hungry or late for something?! 👶👧🏼👦
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
And while I’ve always been a pretty organized gal, the idea of *simplifying* has been top of mind over the last year. Ordering my groceries online instead of doing the shopping myself (three cheers for Click and Collect 🎉 ), doing my best to say no to some of the events and opportunities that come our way (even though I reallllllly want to do everything!) in order to make space for the things that mean the most to us and @finding ways to plan ahead so that I can actually enjoy my time with the kids, instead of always feeling like I’m scrambling to get my act together!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Of course, a key area has been mealtime. And having a solid meal plan has been a HUGE life saver because I know what we’re eating for each meal, and *most of the time* I’m able to have some or all of it prepped ahead of time. Which means that I’m not a huge grouch while I’m getting dinner together + I don’t have to deal with hangry kids quite as often. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
My next challenge? Simplifying the toy clean-up at the end of the night. Let me know if you have any tips!

Some of the time i find inspiration through other people here on insta, and then take their ideas and apply them to my meals. For instance take these lavish wraps that i used for two of my meals today, they were high in protein and low in carbs. Additionally on the tuna wrap i used a dill mustard which turned a normally bland tuna wrap to a flavorful meal. Finding new ways to add flavor while not adding any sugars/carbs/fats is a great way to stay lean during shredding!

Right guys... seems as I spend most of my time cooking and being requested to share my recipes with you I thought I’d start posting some meals! •
I am the only pescatarian in the house which can make it hard at dinner time... that’s probably why I get the task of cooking 😏 and I also get so bored of typical English food... I love a good curry or stir fry •
Tonight I cooked a fairly quick and easy meal, spag bowl! I tried quorn mince for the first time and I have to say it was sooo nice! It has a really smooth texture 👌🏽

All I needed was spaghetti, quorn mince, tomato and basil sauce, onions, mushrooms, peppers, garlic, basil and of course garlic bread! •
I’ll try and make it a regular appearance to give you some food inspirations! And please feel free to tag me in any meals you cook! 🍝
