THAT TIME OF THE WEEK 👩🏼‍🍳 I always try to follow the half/quarter/quarter method when making my meals for the week✔️Half of my meal is made up of a range of non-starchy veggies, ✔️one quarter is a protein source (tofu today) and the remaining quarter is whole grains or cereals (brown rice). This method works for your dinner plate too 🍽 Just like that you’ve got yourself a balanced meal 👌🏼Final meal picture to come 😊

#mealprepgoals. Ahhhhh I’ve picked two of my favourite recipes for next week’s lunches; butter chicken and meatballs in napolitana sauce! Delish! I can’t wait to eat these haha…

Next’s weeks menu looks like this;

🧡PRE WORKOUT: Peanut butter protein balls
.
💚BREAKFAST: 3 x overnight coconut protein oats (I'll add fruit in the morning) The other 2 days are free for omelettes or pancakes
.
💛AM Snack: 3 x celery sticks, mini capsicums and beetroot hummus (20g) snacks and 2 x chia puddings with homemade blueberry jam (stay tuned for the recipe😊) . .
.
💜LUNCH: 3 x butter chicken (120g of chicken) with ¼ cup of brown rice (I may add a cup of cauliflower rice to add volume) and 2 x chicken meatballs in napolitana sauce (120 g chicken mince) with 1/3 cup of wholemeal spaghetti and 1 cup of zoodles (stored separately, so the zoodles don’t get soggy). .

💙PM SNACK: 3 x coconut @yoproau with a seed mix and 2 x berry mixes (strawberries, blueberries and almonds) .

❤DINNER: Made fresh every night, this week I will be having salmon (we eat a lot of salmon, it's a great source of omega 3)! Yummm! And I will try to make rice paper rolls for the first time as well haha wish me luck!

I never eat an appropriate amount of protein or vegetables during the day and end up eating lots of foods high in carbs and sugar. I started following @mealprepster and prepping meals just over a week ago. It's a lot of work since I do not like cooking, but my body feels healthier and my emotions are a tad more stable instead of the typical ups and downs I experience. I've always been a 'live to eat' kind of person so the meal prep has helped me to become more 'eat to live'. I still have days that I binge-eat sweets, but this small change has definitely helped me have more control over what I eat and how I feel.

Plant based meal in under 10 mins 😍🙌🏻 Heck yes! The easiest way to pack in a ton of veggies in a hurry 👊🏻 @eatbanza chickpea pasta + sautéed veggies + leftover brussel sprouts 😎 So easy but sooo satisfying!! I mixed the pasta in some olive oil, garlic, basil, and red pepper flakes 😋 I’m not a die hard pasta person but on a cold fall day give me alllll the warm pasta bowls 😍 Especially when they’re gf, grain free, and full of veggies 👊🏻 Wild Friday night planned over here working on things + cleaning/baking while Eli studies! Probably also a Target run because I’m feeling crazy 😜 Eli’s got a big test week coming up next week and after that we’re doing a stay cation for a few days 🤗 So excited!! For now though, it’s cleaning and podcast listening 😜 Haha have a great Friday night friends, hope it’s a little more exciting than mine! ❤️ ———————————————————————————- recipe details 👉🏻 @eatbanza chickpea pasta cooked according to package directions topped with 1 tbsp olive oil + garlic + red pepper flakes + basil.
