This is another entry that I’m very proud to share. Scott Sylvia doesn’t really need introductions. It’s hard to find somebody that did more for tattooing as a whole than him. He’s been into this forever, with a working ethic that nobody can question. He’s been in the middle of it when it mattered, when the industry was different and when the godfathers of tattooing influenced and learned from each other in the old days, crossing with counterculture and music. Tattooer of tattooers, as he’s been called; terribly efficient when it comes to technique; machine builder of what became the top standard; painter; father.. it’s hard to make justice to such a character in a few lines. This short paragraph tho is meant to just inspire you to look into it, if you haven’t already. Search for his interviews for example(Last Sparrow to mention one) because it’s gonna be a learning moment. You will leave with a bit more knowledge of what real tattooing is about.
