STRETCH YOURSELF, not just in the physical sense, which is a important component of fitness and wholeness. I am referring to pushing YOURSELF past your perceived limitations, abilities, capacity, and mindset
Many of us are pretty familiar with the idea of getting out of your COMFORT ZONE, which sounds pretty trite and simple as it rolls of the tongue. However the problem I see is not in the WILL but in the SKILLS.
Getting out of your comfort zone is easier said than done, probably because that zone is so darn comfortable RIGHT? and who doesn't like comfortable - like NO HUMAN 🙄
The ability to challenge and stretch yourself takes SKILL POWER over WILL POWER. It's something you have to learn and train yourself to do. Over time it will reveal that you made for MORE - not just in quantity but QUALITY and IMPACT
Take calculated risks
Read a new book
Watch a documentary on new topic
Travel to different places
Speak to someone you don't know
Read the Bible (belief not required)
Learn a new skill, language, and/or history
Connect with a different perspective
Improve your public speaking skills
Ultimately the desired outcome is to build different muscles that the mirror cannot reflect. Things that last alot longer, take you further, and make a bigger impact.
