TOP TIPS FOR ARM DAY .
Should you train biceps and triceps together or seperate?
For me I prefer to train them together, no better feeling when your arms just feel pumped. But if your gonna train them together start with your weaker muscle for me it's the triceps, so go heavy like close grip bench, skull crushers. .
Tips for biceps-making sure you come to the point where muscle is fully shortened so contracted, and then slowly realised to be fully lengthen. Doing this will not just allow you to get the peak of the bicep but will allow you to gain so much more from the exercise. .
Tips for triceps- make sure body is stable, elbows tucked into the side of your body allowing you to be strong. When in that position your gonna push just from the elbow joint, meaning no shoulder movement or the focus is far from you triceps. Another tip pause when muscle is shortened 2 secs then extend fully and contract. .

Deadlifts from the REP TEST. 87.5% of max, felt heavy but smooth. So that move I make that resembles a shrug during my pre lift warmup, is in order to retract my scapulas- "locking them in." I found being mindful of your scapulas being tight is critical on Bench, squats, and of course Deadlifts. If you aren't doing it, or don't understand the concept I advice looking up how to lock in and incorporate it. Tweaked my back a little bit by going too low during my first set of squats. Decided to throw on my belt and cut depth. Still looks and felt good. Instead of showing bench, which was very slow, my favorite row variation is shown.
Squats 5x5 @ 78%
Rows 4x6 @ RPE 9

Sometimes you gotta take a step back before taking another 2 steps forward. Have not been getting good workouts recently, missing target weights. Maybe it's time to change it up a little. .

Hit me with three reds Mr. Judge 🔴🔴🔴 but pulled a 100lb conventional PR, was pretty pleased with it since I never pull conventional. Prior to 635 I hit a beltless 585, so I'm ecstatic with the results I've been getting.

I'm the type of person that will usually keep to myself but lately with school, work, and just my personal life in general I've found myself getting aggravated and annoyed a whole lot easier than normal. The gym has been a big reason for keeping me somewhat sane lol. Lately, I feel like this is the only place where I'll get 100% honesty 100% percent of the time. Instant results, the weight tells me what I need to do, and how I should go about it. I love that about lifting, and to be honest that's the main reason I continue to go. I like seeing progress and I love the process it takes to reach some of my goals but it's what the weight tells me that continuously make me want to go. I know it's lame lol but it's the things like this that make me value the simple things in life. Rant done, fam.

What you do need to be ashamed about though is your current arm training routine and your lack of any actual progress or gains that haven't been made...

But no need to worry any longer... BFR (Blood Flow Restriction) Training, also known as Occlusion Training may be exactly what you need to stimulate new muscle growth.
.
In short, BFR Training involves wrapping your limbs (arms or legs) with a device (knee wraps or medical tourniquets see here) to restrict blood flow in the veins of the working muscle to elicit gains in size and strength. Doing so will increase cell swelling in the muscle, force your body to recruit more large fast twitch muscle fibers due to lower levels of oxygen, and accumulate more lactic acid, all increasing protein synthesis and resulting in greater gains in size and strength. .

You want to wrap whatever device you use to about a 7, on a scale of 1-10.
.
This technique is a great way to finish off a workout or can be INTEGRATED into your training 2-3 times a week of you have a lagging body part that you're working to bring up..
.
Most research that has been done had shown that the most effective protocol is performing 4 sets with a 30-45 second rest period in between. Set 1 should be 30 reps, followed by 3 sets of 15 reps.
