The Audition. A Tom Holland fanfiction, part 25. When Tom delivered you back to your house to get ready, you crashed down on your bed and giggled. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
He was taking you to a party. He mentioned a friend but his friend had a girlfriend so he wasn’t setting you up with anyone. You imagined it wouldn’t be like the celebrity party, probably more people your age just wanting a quick getaway from the stresses of life. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Being with Tom certainly made your thoughts disappear, but sometimes unwillingly as you never knew the right combination of words to form a flattering sentence. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
But, oh, how he made your head spin. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
You stepped off your bed and strutted over to your closest, it's squeaky hinges calling out to your roommates. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It was an alarm to them that you were getting dressed nicely, you kept all your casual clothes tucked away in a drawer. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
“Y/n!” Lucy sang, skipping into your room. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
You filed through your dresses and stopped at your fitted black one, fingering the fabric and sequins. Lucy yanked your hair and you ignored her, not wanting her to see the guilty expression plastered all over your face. You tore it off the hanger and made your way to the bathroom, ignoring Lucy’s comments and laughter. As you undressed and locked the door so Lucy wouldn’t burst in, Tom texted you. You snatched your phone off the counter and read the text.
“Dinner before?” It asked.
You responded after you turned on the shower. “what time?”
“7:00 :)” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
You didn’t reply; you were already in the shower singing to a random song stuck in your head.
