It's been a while I have been following the work of the wild model Marisa Papen, since the Plastic Sushi Calendar she created to raise awareness over the plastic pollution of our seas.
She recently released another beautiful and strong project realized in Egypt with the photographer Jesse Walker, shooting in my former home, the temples of Ancient Egypt.
I was very much impressed by this work and was inspired to transform Marisa into a modern times Nefertiti (or maybe to make her being her old self again ?), which I did with this digital painting.
Thanks to them both for the autorisation to publish this work of mine, inspired by theirs.
Marisa also recently released a new calendar to raise awareness on another big issue of our planet, the alarming decrease in population of wild animals, that you can find on her page. If you don't know her work, I strongly invite you to have a look and support her initiative. (wwww.marispapen.com and http://plastic-sushi.com). As Instagrama has problems with nudity, I had to tattoo Marisa, but we will find a way to publish the natural version soon !
Have a beautiful Full moon with Nefertiti ! <3
