We had lots of fun creating these drip paint pumpkins. I loved that the boys could do this with very little help, especially Elijah did this very self directed. • • • Despite me cutting my finger I did scoop out the innards of these pumpkins because I don’t want to waste want they were actually grown for-food. Seeds will be roasted and the rest will become soup. Just waiting for the paint to dry now lol
Story set-up for a book my mum used to read to us when I was little. The pages of the book are a bit discoloured and it's practically falling apart, but it's definitely captured the next generation's interest!
Our copy is a German translation of the American picture book, "The Little House" by Virginia Lee Burton, first published in 1942. The invitation to read and play includes a seasonal set-up (swipe to see illustrations of the seasons in the book), as well as a look at construction and urban development. Definitely a book that has stood the test of time!
I’m kind of missing this freedom already, back to reality, funeral prep, pastoral grief support, messy church prep, school assemblies etc... but you know what these past two weeks have really filled my tank to get going on all these things
I finished my pixie hats for the boys. I’m going to adapt the pattern a little I think but also make myself one. Oh and the park at the Falkirk Kelpies is amazing... look how much fun the boys were having! We had quite a bit of fun too
