In another cake for a cause PSA:
Body positivity is about INCLUSION. Not exclusion, elitism or cliques. This community is for everyone in need of support and safe space.
Just because someone's recovery is different from yours doesn't make it wrong. If I work out because I've been an athlete my whole life that doesn't mean I want to change my body, or that I'm not body positive. I use exercise and yoga as a form of meditation, more for my mental health than even for my physical health. But whether you work out all the time; or not at all, you are worthy of a place in this community. Everyone's recovery is different, everyone's healthy lifestyle is personal and different. We are here to support what works for you to keep you happy and healthy, we are not here to judge or exile you. We are not here to say that only certain body types can be "body posi" and others can't , because that's simply UNTRUE. Exercise isn't punishment, but you shouldn't be punished if you exercise. Food isn't your enemy, but you shouldn't be demonized because you eat a certain way. You can be vegan and be body posi, you can be a meat lover and be body posi. Diversity and inclusion are KEY to a happy, healthy, honest community. You are loved, you are beautiful, and you are worthy by simply being the way you were made, and so are others. Stand porter at the door of thought, meaning watch what you allow into your thought about yourself, AND others.
Unretouched by @bonnienichoalds wearing @aerie because yes I work out, yes I still have booty dimples, and yes I still eat cookies. Fck you thought 😂✊🏽🤙🏽
