"Tere Naina Kyon Bhar Aaye?''
💮💔💮💔💮💔💮💔💮 After Arzoo's (1965) grand success Ramanand Sagar's faith in Rajendra's acting grew even more. They both became good trustable friends too by then. ❤
Slowly Sagar ji kept planning for strongly emotional and compatible films. People say, he constantly remained in touch with Rajendra in order to cast him in one of his masterpieces.
And soon around in the late 60s he called Rajendra to read script of a movie called Geet. Rajendra was too busy as a star those days but he couldn't ignore Sagar Ji's call and he did reciprocated by visiting him.
After reading the script Rajendra had moist eyes and he immediately said a yes. Some say it was Rajendra only who later suggested Sagar ji to cast Mala as his heroine. Some say Mala was Sagar Ji's personal choice. Now rest remains the history.
But this song is a very beautiful composition. Starring two of my most favorite and loved stars.
The lyrics are so soothing 😭😍 Lyricist : Anand Bakshi, Singer : Lata Mangeshkar,
Music Director : Kalyanji Anandji,
Movie : Geet (1970)
