A Tip To Avoid Procrastination
Procrastination is a very real problem for many of us. We know what we SHOULD be doing in many instances, but often times we end up putting things off or waiting until the very last second. A nice trick to use in order to get the productive ball rolling is to start off with very easy and simple tasks, complete them, and then continue with more. Once you've knocked out 3 or 4 of these small productive "wins" you will be in the right frame of mind to continue and finish the items on your list that take the most time and effort. By building up this momentum it's much smoother to ease into the actual thing that needs to get accomplished. Some quick examples of small starter tasks could be to load your dishwasher, organize your desk, do laundry, clean your bathroom, consolidate your iPhone "to do" list, organize your email inbox, go grocery shopping, go to the gym, call an old friend, etc......the possibilities are endless. So start doing.
