Went to Tammisaari to get the last stuff from the apartment, client check ins on the train/answering emails also planning the upcoming beach workouts which will be on Hanko's most beautiful beach Tulliniemi and maybe at some other beaches in the city depending on my clients😄
I want to get people active, get people out of the house to do fun fullbody workouts at the beach and get new friends.

Squatting in this savage heat combined with shit cardio killed me today! Definitely challenging and nice to change training up with some volume.
I played about with light seated overhead presses to prepare my shoulders and get my stabilising muscles firing before hitting some DB presses. It's a lot more demanding than expected but was fun to experiment with new exercises to add variety to training.
Today's session:

Squats
4x8 @65%/160kg
Box squats 10x2 @70%/172kg
Seated overhead press 4x8 @30kg
Incline pause DB press @32kg 12/10/8/8/8

Sternum pull downs 5x12-15
Tricep flat bar push downs 4x8

This is perfectly said and it's also my job to help others at the gym to feel confident and to find fun workouts that works for you.
Many people are afraid to start working out at the gym because they feel unsecure and think that everyone takes you as a fool when you are not as "pro" as everyone else. This seriously needs to stop. We need to encourage each other at the gym and help one another, first thing is to say Hello to people that come in.
I think that the gym should be a place where you can feel at home, where you can chat with everyone between the sets and have fun working out together.

Don't be the one at the gym that laughs when someone does something wrong, help them instead, remember that we all have to start somewhere.

Legday motivation 😄 two of my favorite leg exercises in machines.
1. Reversed hack squat to target the booty
2. Back squat in smith machine👢
Remember to have a proper form, full range of motion+ activate your abs. I see many pushing their hips forward when squatting, deadlifting etc. Which is NOT good for your lower back, you can activate your glutes more effectively and safer by not pushing your hips forward. Keep your hips in place, abs activated and try to also activate your glutes when going down- it takes some time before learning this, but once you discover the right tehnique that works best for you, you will notice a major difference in your booty/legs development.
