I don’t know about you, but I’ve tried quick fixes before. Fad diets all promise the same thing: quick results. What they don’t tell you is that once it’s over, unless you keep doing it, you’re going to go back to where you started, maybe worse! They promise you a quick fix because they want a quick buck.
The truth is, RESULTS TAKE TIME. Your metabolism doesn’t change over night. You CANNOT get fit over night, so stop wishing you could and start saying you WILL. I have beat myself up over soooo many failed attempts at living a healthy lifestyle. I could never grasp that it takes blood, sweat and tears to adjust to healthy living and even then it takes daily commitment to stay that way! I was lazy and kept thinking, “Maybe tomorrow.”
When the reality hit me that it could take a year or more for me to be physically where I want to be, my heart sank. That’s so LONG! But I started anyway, determined, and I’m getting there day by day.
This isn’t a quick fix. This is a slow process. A mental change is happening. My attitude is shifting. My mood is more steady. My body is recovering from a couple decades of abuse of terrible food and awful sleep patterns. It takes time to CHANGE!
I hope you realize that you CAN get to where you want to be. Not just physically but mentally, emotionally and spiritually too. I say this all the time but having accountability is what changed everything for me. It was the one thing I was missing all this time. Consistent encouragement and coaching (WITHOUT paying an arm and a leg!)
So if you want a quick fix to lose tons of weight in a short amount of time, I can’t help you. But if you want to learn how to live a sustainable HEALTHY lifestyle, and you’re willing to work for your transformation from the inside out, then I can DEFINITELY help with that! Day 5/80

So, there is are a few things I have been completely sure of these past 3 years!
My health and wellness bucket list:
1. I wanted to lose weight. No gimmicks, No quick fixes { down 190 lbs}
2. Build self confidance
3. Be in a photo while standing in the front
4. Find people to support me, because I have failed for 30 years {Support a MUST}
5. No longer be labeled morbidly obese
6. Shop in a store that has clothing for everyone {not only plus sized} Love Old Navy!
7. Eat for my health and find a fitness program that I will enjoy. Oh and not spend hours working out.{ HELL NO!}
Let's talk about this new workout,Yeah!!!! Ummm this workout is challenging but I will add to this, that I wanted to change myself. SO, with that being said, if YOU don't challenge yourself YOU can't change yourself. Leg day was brutal in a freaking FABULOUS way.
I did cry and contemplated quitting!! But, I pulled up my old lady panties {LOL} and finished like a rockstar!!!! .
WE ARE NOT QUITTERS. Take a shower and doll up babe, we got this sheot!!!!
YOU ready to jump in with me...Make some healthy changes all the while earning a little $$ . Hey who doesn't want to get paid to participate. Maybe some money for those new clothes you will need?!
