#30daysofleap#makeitgloomy So I decided to join the @Leapmode September a pic a day challenge. Only just found out about it so better late than never. Todays challenge was "make it gloomy". A little tricky given the amazing bluebird day here in the mountains. But Curiosity Rocks never fails to evoke a feeling of solitude. And black and white helps 😜
Reminded by @joshlmoran to have a look at the Canon competition #30daysofleap@leapmode. The pic was taken in Iran on the drive from Tehran to Ardabil. ONe of those moments when the light tries to break through the clouds. Perfect for the Day 17 #MakeItGloomy
The brief for Day 17 of the #30daysofleap by Canon was #makeitgloomy . Honestly, I just love buildings that from the outside just mirror everything. The view from the bottom of Adobe HQ was spectacular. But I really do like the outside of the building. Once again... no great photography here. Just need to get this challenge done.
It was a dark and stormy day when I visited the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum in Ueno. This is the iconic sculpture outside the museum by Bukichi Inoue called My Sky Hole. I didn't know that Bukichi Inoue has a whole series of works entitled Sky Hole. You're supposed to look at the excavation on one side of this giant silver ball but I thought the distorted image of the surroundings on its reflective surface makes for a nicer photo. . . . #bukichiinoue#tokyometropolitanartmuseum#tobikan#myskyhole#makeitgloomy#30dayschallenge#30daysofleap
