Or do you take into account your mindset behind it? 💭 to many of us have one focal point 👉🏽 body composition goals 💪🏼 but what about your mindset behind these goals? Do you consistently body shame yourself in the mirror? ❌❌ lifestyle/your personal journey goals (focusing long term) should be solely based on something that ignites that inner fire of yours! When you think of it, you can’t help but smile with excitement •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
KEY LIST TO ANY JOURNEY!
1️⃣ Before any “Body” goal, ensure the your mental health is in check 👌🏼 can you look at yourself and see what you Kielce about your body? Your personality? What you have to share to the world. ➡️ if your body shaming, target that first! See your body as something that is their for you every single day; what it has allowed you to conquer in life; what it is capable of.
2️⃣ 👆🏽 once that is set, implement a daily/weekly plan. I️ don’t mean move straight into physical goals. I️ mean create your own daily mantras that exemplify your beautiful self. Stay consistent with this for a few weeks 👉🏽 soon this will become a mental habit = automatic response that will be long term!
3️⃣ When achieved, ask yourself, am I️ still keeping my “body” goals as my only focal point? Or, am I️ able to see how the mindset about our bodies can significantly effect our outward appearance? When you are able to take priority over mental health first, building on those positive affirmations about the self, your body composition goals will come along too! •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

Today was the type of workout that ignites my spark to a whole new level. 1️⃣ Smith shoulder press 15,12,10,8, drop set final set
2️⃣ Seated lateral raise SUPERSET bent over dumbbell rear delt flys 4x12 (failure last set laterals)
3️⃣ Cable front raise using straight bar SUPERSET staggered push ups 4x12
4️⃣ Rear delt cable flys 5x15 with 10 second rest between each set
5️⃣ Cable triceps push downs 10x10 with 10 second rest
6️⃣ Cable bicep curls using rope handles - perform reps from heavy to lighter until you hit 50 reps total
TOTAL BODY FINISHER ▶️ 10 burpee chest to ground

So ever since I got back to training it’s been some what intuitively. I do what I feel like and as long as I’ve hit my whole body by Friday I’ve been happy, but it’s time to get back to more systematic programming.

Dynamic squat and bench at 70% plus lower body accessories. Knee’s ok as long as I stay on my mobility work but my bench has been neglected since focusing on CrossFit/Olympic lifts and it’s paid a big price. Oh well ain’t nothin to it but to do it.

BREAKING NEWS......... My body decided to tap out before my mind did yet again. While being joined Sunday for a leg session with the beautiful @fitnessfreak_04 I suffered a hamstring tear this time my left hamstring.from left to right and top to bottom. Monday bruising started Tuesday a little progression and today the bruising is settling in for the winter season. Is now working it’s way down into my calve some and getting darker. This will not slow me down much like it hasn’t in the past.
