Hold nu op hvor har jeg glædet mig til at dele dagens treat med jer Nerd Squad! Det har været længe undervejs, men nu skydes #ProjectDisney endelig igang. Første kapitel i denne velsmagende saga gennem Disneys historie er naturligvis “Snehvide og de syv små dværge”, i dag er det dog den onde dronning der har fået lov at være i centrum for en stund (til hendes store glæde og fornøjelse) første treat i denne 5 delte føljeton er nemlig af den onde dronnings braiserede svinehjerte (opskrift via link i profil)

Ever tried spicing up your Salt with dried edible flowers? It sure looks pretty, don't you think?

How to make your own Salt with edible flowers:
Choose some edible flowers who hasen't been sprayed with toxins. Preferable in different colors - I used Roses, Cornflowers, Dandelions and Marigolds. Pick the petals off, and lay them on a news paper e.g, spread them well and let them dry completely. When dry, mix with a flaky salt and store the salt in a box with a lid.
Easy 'eh? And you even get to pick flowers !

Maybe you are up for an Aperitif before dinner tonight? Or maybe you need the recipe for one for the next time you are having guests? * * * * *
Then you should try this Gooseberry cordial mixed with a Cremant brut. Maybe even decorate the glass with some Elderflowersugar. Its SO fresh, a bit sour but still sweet. And festive for sure, especially if you go with pink Gooseberries 🍷🍹

Make some salt with dried edible flowers - I used Marigolds, Roses, Cornflowers and Dandelions, and top your Fougasse with it. Add some fresh herbs, and you have a lovely summer bread for the barbecue in the garden.

Have you ever tried to make Elderflower sugar?
In a couple of days, I'll show you what I made it for. I'll say that much, its festive 👏

And it has a tiny part of the Summer Menu that @noterfrakoekkenet and I are making for #MadbloggerUdfordringen13 , a foodbloggers challenge.

Somethings drizzling in my kitchen ... I wont tell you yet what I'm up to, but I'll tell you that much ,that it has to do with the foodbloggers challenge: @madbloggerudfordringen

Yesterday I went for a foraging trip to @utterslev_mose in the search of Dandelions. Actually the Dandelion flowers, because I wanted to make an appetizer with them for the summer menu that @noterfrakoekkenet and I are making in @madbloggerudfordringen - a foodbloggers challenge.
But the Dandelions are no longer in bloom 🙈 and the ones I found, where all along the paths where the 🐶🐶 are doing their business 🙉! I guess I have to change my plans, and go for the Dandelion roots in stead ...well its a challenge for sure, being a foodblogger living in the big city, and been given an additonal challenge using an edible flower/plant growing in nature🙊

Why the Elderflowers, you might wonder? Well you'll have to wait and see ... 🙈
