HIGH PROTEIN SNACKS
Want to increase your protein intake? Try snacking on these!
• 1 turkey sausage + 20g lighter cheese
• Small packet of beef jerky
• 1 rice cake with 1 tbsp peanut butter
• Homemade cookie dough protein bar (recipe on my website)
• 170g pot of 0% fat Greek yoghurt
• 2 medium sized boiled eggs

Je vous retrouve aujourd'hui avec un de mes repas et une illustration de comment je les compose.
1. Des glucides complexes, ici du quinoa. ( je précise que le poids indiqué est pour le quinoa pesé cru)
2. Des légumes : haricots et tomates que j'ai poêlé à l'huile d'olive.
3. Des protéines : ici tout simplement une boîte de sardines.
Je n'ai pas eu besoin d'ajouter de sauce car l'huile d'olive, les herbes et épices de la cuisson des legumes suffisaient à apporter du goût 😊
Si vous comptez vos calories et macros, n'oubliez surtout pas de prendre en compte les matières grasses utilisées pour la cuisson !

Evening 🖐 so I went for pick n mix for my treat meal again 👀 I have a thing for the red & pink sweets if you haven't noticed & I pack as much in to the cup as I possibly can. Bit of a boring night for me but I did have a lemon thrown at me in Tesco 😂 was minding my own business trying to get my sweets & run then a fucking 🍋 comes at me

Off season treating me goooood 🍑 On a real note though, with nursing school taking over my life, I've been really focusing on making my lifts as effective as possible. Some days I have a million other things going on that getting into the gym is the last thing I want to do, other days I can't WAIT to get to the gym for the same reason. What I do make sure of though is that I'm focusing on mind muscle connection, staying focused and pushing myself hard. Not only do I make working out a priority for my overall health, but my sanity as well

Final traveling workout complete 💪☑️ meaning I'm going home today 🤗 I have two events tomorrow and will be eating at each so I won't be back to really accurately tracking my macros until Sunday 😅but I do feel like this trip gave me some good life knowledge on eyeballing/guesstimating what I'm eating, so I'm pretty happy about that 😃I think I will maybe do a post later of my good eats this week and how I tracked what I ate out 👍

Wore my @iifymapparel donut heart tee and thought about the raspberry stuffed beignets I had last night 🤤 (check my story 👌) I accidentally said they were strawberry😅 whatever they were warm, gooey, and delicious. And I did end up tracking them actually, I just put in MFP that I ate a raspberry filled donut from Dunkin Donuts🍩but I just DoNut care that having them put me over my macros😋🍩 one of those special events that I will justify indulging on😋🙌

Always remember that you are absolutely unique. Just like everyone else. You are not a magical unicorn.... but this doughnut is magical and might make you feel like one, so plan ahead, track that bad boy and get to EATING IT!! 😂😂😂

Day 27 C6 - Upper body weights day. Resting my legs for a long weekend run. Plan on doing another half marathon and hopefully getting a better time. Increased some of my weights and reps so pleased. Done tons of activity today - loads of walking, over 7.5 hours. Crackers!
Breakfast was protein pancakes with yoghurt and berries. Lunch was leftover chapati pizzas shared with the kids so topped up with a protein shake in the afternoon. Tea was a healthy fry up. Might treat myself to a glass of red in a bit.

The family love this way of using up the leftover gammon from yesterday's dinner. This is a gammon and chicken potato topped pie. 😋 A quick and simple creamy 'white sauce' with some chicken pieces and the leftover gammon topped with mash and served with veggies of choice. So simple...the sauce in this is a sauce I use all the time as it's so easy to make and is actually really healthy with no cream involved at all.
