WHY DO WE TRACK?

Often people's first reaction to measuring and tracking food is thats to obsessive and/or time time consuming. So why do we do do it? And why do we have a nutrition plan based around it?
.
"What gets measured, gets managed" - Peter Drucker.

If you are seeking some kind of body composition change, the two areas you need to consider are your training and your nutrition. Both are important in their own rights, and neither should be ignored. You can't have one without the other. In order to know what to do next with your nutrition, YOU NEED TO HAVE TRACKED DATA to make educated changes. Just like training, it's important to follow a program, track the program, and adapt the program - how many of us wake up and make up our training as we go along? Even if you do classes, they are written by a coach as a program.

The same goes for our nutrition: if you follow a plan, you are far more likely to succeed! Individualised, strategised, plans is the most efficient way to get from A to B.
.

As coaches we can write plans, but we can write BETTER plans with ongoing, consistently tracked data. And still better plans as we like to look beyond Marcos, and have our clients track sleep, moods, weight, measurements.

Everything affects everything, which is why we like to know more. Stress affects performance and a lack of sleep, which affects training, which affects recovery & muscle preservation when in deficit. All of this affects your moods, which affects your stress, which affects your sleep!

It's been 23 weeks since I started a new nutrition journey. Wow has it been rewarding. I won't go on and on about it. However, I will say commitment, consistency, and the support of others are what helped me get where I am today. My coach Whitney @mystakae has changed my outlook on nutrition forever. As promised......One of my very favorite ways to make darn sure I get my water💦in every.single.day! I posted a few posts back about just how dang important WATER is in your transformation, so if you didn't get a chance, read it! This is so tasty and I love drinking this all day long! I get a 1 Liter (33.8 oz.) water bottle, fill it 3/4 full of water (or if its a brand new bottle, drink about 1/4 of the bottle down) then add 2 packages of Crystal Light Peach Mango flavor, shake it up, now here comes the magic💫Add about half a bottle of ICE Pineapple Coconut and get ready to have a happy party in your mouth😊🎉😊This drink is so refreshing and just hits the spot and I just keep making it over and over all day long! Feeling so damn strong, starting this program last Sunday I could only do 55lbs on the bench press.
Well today it all changed I was able to get 75lbs for 2 sets at 6 reps. My first set was 10 and was able to do 60lbs then the next set was 8 and was able to do 70lbs and worked my way up to 75lbs with no problem.
Jeez @desb___ definitely knows what she is talking about, I would have never been able to rock 90lbs without any issues, soon I'll be at 90 and I can't wait.
Thanks so much girl you've helped me so much and I couldn't be any happier. I was so surprised that I was even able to get to 75lbs.
I think I was just afraid of going so heavy that I never did it but today was the day and I did it 💪and I feel amazing and so proud ahhh I'm on cloud nine so happy.
I know today will be an amazing day for me made a PR and just makes me smile. Anything is possible if you put your mind into it.
