You, your happiness, your self-worth, self-confidence, self-love, they’re all worth it. Make the choice to make a change.

✅Week 20✅

This is an excellent representation of why IIFYM works. Of why it's not about the day-to-day, but the overall. Of why consistency wins.

I was in Boston Thursday and Friday for a short work trip. I didn't go crazy on Thursday, but was way more lax Friday. Just look at my calorie intake! 😮 I tracked as accurately as possible, even when I hated seeing the numbers.

But guess what? My overall week was FINE! I have been trying to eat a bit more fat due to some reading I've done claiming women fare better with lower carb/higher fat intake - and clearly keeping protein high. So that part was intentional.

The point is, even with one pretty "off" day, I didn't derail months of progress. My weight is back down to pre-trip levels and I had an excellent lifting session upon returning.

Don't beat yourself up for living life. Otherwise, what's the point? Guilt serves no one well. Do, however, get back into your routine and move on. Don't let one day force you into the mindset that all is lost so you may as well throw in the towel. It just isn't true. ❤

Week 7 challenge for #ashleyhornertransformyou .. Share a days worth of meals.
So here it is:
Breakfast: Oatmeal with egg whites and 1 serving SF choc chips
Lunch: Ground turkey with FF cheese, green beans, and sweet potatoes
Supper: Chinese chicken bowl with rice and veggies.
Snacks: premier protein, string cheese, yogurt, veggies and Greek yogurt ranch.
All meals prepped for M-F and then I flex a little more on the weekends. Still try to stick with my macros though.
