Did you know that just one milky way has LESS sugar than a can of Coke?!!😳 It's so easy to sometimes think..
"Liquid calories don't count" as 2 seconds later and it's gone! We've also heard a lot in the press over the years about "how BAD" sodas is for us.. but this often concentrates on the chemicals and additives in these drinks.

So it may be a a tad surprising to think that just one can of Coke has 35g of sugar which is actually MORE THAN the daily minimum recommendation of sugar.

OK, sorry there are a few crazy things I've just mentioned, so let's all just sit back, relax, and have milky way JOKE 🌝 ..I'm not recommending either everyday as part of a "healthy diet" but this picture just hopes to show how much sugar liquid calories can have.

🥞Recipe⬇️
•35 grams Buckwheat pancake flour
•15 grams Vanilla Protein Powder
•10 grams Vital Wheat Gluten
•1 Tsp Baking Soda (baking soda I got baking soda)
•Stevia *optional*
•Mix all dry Ingredients together then slowly mix in some plant based milk or water.
•Cook on medium heat and flip when you see bubbles.
🥜🍫 Drizzle Recipe
•10 grams chocolate protein
•2 grams of coco powder
•6 grams of Chocolate PB 2
•Slowly add water, mix, and drizzle.

I’m prepping for a figure/bikini competition so I am looking to avoid drinking my food as much as possible. That rapid digestion isn’t ideal when you’re in a caloric deficit. Whether it’s weight loss or contest prep, no one enjoys feelings of hunger.

I made this delicious crepe instead, packed with protein and topped with the fruits I love! I just mixed my egg whites with my protein powder, added some vanilla and cinnamon, then cooked it on medium heat with some non-stick Pam spray. I used the warm pan to heat up my frozen strawberries, measured my orange 🍊 and banana, and voila!

By doing this you can save a lot of calories, and use them better suited elsewhere.

You could also search the internet for lower- calorie options and concoctions made by others that taste really good or wants that you can duplicate at home.

#macro #mealprep hack: when tracking macros, I often make a huge batch of a certain recipe, enter all the raw weight, cook it all and weigh the end result to divide into portions for the week. I finally got fed up of always forgetting to weigh my empty containers and have to take all the food out to re-weigh them. I’ve now weighed all of them and written their weight with a sharpie underneath! 🤓Don’t know why it took me this long to do that! 🤷🏻‍♀️
