At tea time, the inevitable passage at Starbucks often leads us to choose one of these many pastries that make us want. Innocent little muffin, you think that choosing a blueberry 🍇 rather than chocolate is already a great effort to reduce the sugar content in the latter, but you're on the wrong track 🚧
The fat and the amount of sugar contained in a muffin remains the same whether it is chocolate, cheesecake or hazelnut. It's not so much the blueberries that make the difference!

Enjoyed my birthday dinner yesterday with some homemade pizza! 🍕😋 don't let that little slice of heaven fool you though!! The crust was made with ground chicken and for 1/4 of the whole pizza the macros are 27P/8F/0C!!! 👈🏼 macros ONLY for the crust and not counting the toppings. -
💥Recipe:
▪️1 lb ground chicken ▪️1/4 c. low fat mozzarella cheese ▪️1/4 c. Parmesan cheese

Mix above ingredients and shape mixture on a pizza pan or cookie sheet. Bake for 20 min at 400 F. then remove from oven, place desired toppings on pizza and cook for another 10 min. (I used turkey pepperoni and more mozzarella cheese.) Turned out so good and much easier and better tasting than cauli crust pizza IMO..👌🏼👌🏼 #PizzaGains #MacroHack #IIFYM #HusbandApproved

Dieting on Thanksgiving?

Here’s some easy tips to utilize so that you can stay on track while having fun and enjoy yourself:

🥧 Save or borrow macros from the days before/after. Protein should stay the same, but you can take some fats and carbs and use it for your dinner.
🔢 Make it a calorie day and just try hitting your calories instead of your specific macros.
🍽 Practice portion control. Easier said than done, I know. But let’s not forget the bigger picture. You ARE enjoying yourself but let’s not spiral down into an outward binge that’ll only lead to guilt. Double up on lower calorie options like veggies and fruits.
💦 Drink a LOT of water before, during, and after you eat. A lot of people mistake hunger for thirst. It’s also a good way to get “full” faster which in turn would help you eat less.
🙊 Practice intermittent fasting, and don’t eat or eat very little until your thanksgiving dinner.
🏃🏻‍♂️ Stay active! Boredom is also another reason to eat, so move around, hang with your loved ones, get a workout in if you want, and just keep moving!
🥗 Bring your own “healthier” dish
Easy way to eat guilt free and still have plenty of room to enjoy the other dishes.
👍🏼 These are only a few tips that can help you get through the holidays guilt free. But in all honesty, if you’re not prepping for a show and you’ve been pretty consistent with your training and nutrition, I wouldn’t stress too much about being “accurate.”
👉🏼ENJOY the food.
👉🏼ENJOY the company.
👉🏼ENJOY the time off.
👉🏼ENJOY yourself.
* Life’s too short to feel guilt or shame when you’re spending time with your loved ones.
* I, myself, am dieting through the holidays but I’m okay with that because I’m using the tools I listed above and I JUST took a three week vacay where I enjoyed myself PLENTY LOL✌🏼
* Your goals will still be there Friday. You’re not gonna gain 10lbs in one day.
Worst comes to worst,
REMEMBER: “One meal won’t make you fat just like one workout won’t make you skinny.”

This was a lat pull down variation I got to try out yesterday at @allisonannfit ‘s gym (vid creds to her). I always love checking out new gyms and seeing/trying out the different equipment they have to offer that I’m not accustomed to on the daily👌

Protein Peppermint Hot Chocolate🍫☕️
▪️1 scoop @1stphorm Phormula 1 Chocolate Mint Cookie
▪️1 c nonfat milk or your milk of choice (I personally use & love @fairlife milk—half the carbs and almost double the protein🙌🏼 AND lactose free🙀)
▪️Fat free redi whip
▪️1 tsp mini chocolate chips
Instructions:
1. Heat milk in microwave for 1-1:30 minutes
2. Add milk and protein to blender bottle and shake like crazy
3. Pour into coffee cup and top with redi whip & chocolate chips 😋
**Do not microwave protein powder with milk or it will cook the protein and create clumps👎🏻

The chocolate mint cookie flavor is a MUST! Hands down the smoothest and “least protein flavored” protein I’ve ever had and adding it to heated milk tastes like the real deal hot chocolate😋

I’ve been craving chicken parma for a while now so I decided to make a low carb/low fat version! I just cooked the chicken in thin strips, smothered it with tomato paste, wrapped it with ham and topped with mozzarella cheese and voila, macro friendly chicken parma 🤤 ⠀
(I use frozen veg so it’s in a zip lock bag so it doesn’t defrost and make all my food wet)
