I am in no way saying that one choice is better than the other, but when it comes to making food choices, it is important to keep in mind a few factors.
Times it would be a good idea to choose rice cakes over bread:
- You're dieting and need a lower calorie option
- You have a big appetite so will be able to eat more for the same amount of calories
- You prefer rice cakes over bread

Personally, I love rice cakes because I can top them with all sorts of wonderful things, and I like that I can have a lot of them, which means lots of different toppings!
Bread tends to make me feel heavy and bloated, so in my case, it's better to choose the rice cakes!

But it is so interesting to see just how much MORE you get when you choose the rice cakes. Not only is this more satiating, your brain thinks you're eating a lot more which also contributes to overall feelings of fullness ✅

I definitely feel the pressures of social media more than I should. I wonder am I doing enough? Is this post okay? Does this give any value to anyone? And while helping others through social media and documenting my life/journey is very important to me, so is enjoying this account and making it fun for me. I realize I'm not always going to have the most perfect post or picture with the most perfect caption, but people don't follow me or like me because I'm "perfect" they do it because I'm me and I'm the only "me" out there (okay sounds cheesy but it's true). I can be very hard on myself sometimes; I think we all can. We never realize that we are enough and what we're doing is actually more impactful than it seems. My account is here to help myself and others, to make a difference. So, when I find myself over-thinking social media, I take a step back, put down phone, and realize it's not that serious. At the end of the day if I'm at least making a difference in one person's life, that's what matters. Frozen yogurt hack! 😍🙌🏼 this is such a versatile snack and perfect for summer and for any compulsive snackers like myself!! 😂🙋🏼 I only used 1/2 C of the yogurt and a squirt or so of the "water enhancer" mix. Then mixed them up in a ziplock bag, cut the corner and dropped little bites on wax paper. #FoodieFriday Pizza edition! 🍕 Made #macrofriendly by using @flatoutbread for the crust, smeared with chopped garlic, topped with tomatoes, mozzarella and fresh basil, then sprinkled with pepper and Italian seasonings. Serious macro hack here. I eat one of these every day. They do contain artificial sweeteners but they can be such a good replacement to regular yogurt! I usually mix in fresh fruit and a little granola 👌🏼

Decided after much hesitation and discussion with @this.moms.heart , I have decided to switch to a conservative reverse from a moderate fat loss stage.
