I’m pretty much addicted to tahini lately, I feel 80% of my fat intake has come from that stuff the last couple of days😂🙈. Cool thing is that it can be used for both sweet & savory things (which I didn’t know before seeing ppl on ig making like cookies with it😲)
For the ppl who been asking for a “what I eat in a day” I filmed one the other day that is up on my youtube (links in bio). I feel like I want to make one of those instagram full day of eating pictures but that would mean I could only eat 4 meals i guess haha😂😭...
1. Bottom salad layer: red cabbage, spinach, fresh cilantro, red onion mixed w/lime juice
2. 1 whole zucchini roasted & like 3 small’ish sweet potatoes also roasted (about 1lb of sweet potatoes)
3. 1 can of black beans + 200g of mukimame. Just roasted both of these for like 10 minutes
4. Tahiniiii🤤. Just mixed the tahini with a little lemon juice + salt&pebber
This is an example of a pretty carb heavy bowl with the sweet potatoes + beans, and then some fat from the tahini. Probably 1000+ cals in this which I know is a lot for some of u but ur boy is hitting 3k daily so I neeeed these calsss😆. The “formula” of these bowls can be done in both a high calorie & low calorie way though. I could essentially swap the sweet potatoes with maybe some roasted squash or cauliflower or something like that, and swap the tahini for a lower calorie sauce like a salsa or a Greek yoghurt dressing, and just by doing that this bowl would probably be 500-600 cals instead of 1000+. So my point is just that the volume of food doesn’t always indicate the calories, so u can still eat as much even if u are on lower targets, if ure just efficient with ur ingredients.
