Yesterday, I managed to snag an absolute craigslist treasure. This is a vintage (1960s) Craftsman hobbyist metal-turning lathe. Other than a tiny bit of grime, this thing is in near perfect condition. I'm only the third owner and it has essentially never been used. The guy even had the original instruction manual. I paid less for it yesterday with a motor and stand than lathe itself cost new in the 60s 😮. The seller told me there were about 20 emails and calls after mine, but I managed to be first. I am stoked! It may be small, but it is a 100% American-made gem.
