Further to my previous post, here is a quick and effortless eye shadow tutorial😍😍😍(sorry for the delay guys, i know i was supposed to have posted this yesterday, but my day was really hectic😭)
😍 1: there are NO rules in makeup, this video merely shows some tips that could help makeup beginners. It may not work for everyone. You might have a better and more comfortable way of doing urs and that's totally fine. Do you👍👍.
😍2. An eye shadow base as seen in the video could be any form of eye shadow primer. This helps ur eye shadow lasts longer, intensifies the color and prevents it from creasing (I.e getting oily or peeling off). With a good primer. u really don't have to set it with a powder (as shown in the video). DM if u are interested in an eye shadow primer😍😍😍
😍3. Your transition colour should be a natural looking colour and applied on your crease(look at previous post if u don't know your crease). It acts as a transition from your highlighted brows to your lid colour (which is where you play with colors and glitters- I'll show a different video on that later ). .
😍4. As u would observe in the video, a darker color was applied after the transition color (although not expressly indicated in the video). That helps in giving your eyes some definition. Like an eye contour👍. You can use any dark eye shadow for this. Not necessarily black.
😍5. Finally and very importantly, use a good brush and remember to blend with soft strokes. Also remember that makeup for the eyelid involves a totally different technique. Stick around, ill do a post on that soon😎😎
