👉How many hours of sleep do you average?
I’m someone who needs 8-10 hours or I’m not easy to deal with. I take my sleep seriously and it’s probably one of my favorite things to do. Ben jokes and says if someone asked me if I wanted to go somewhere or sleep I’d pick sleep (and I so would.) 😴
Getting enough QUALITY sleep is SO important:
▪️Weight gain is strongly related to insufficient quality sleep.
▪️People who get enough sleep are less likely to binge eat. Appetite hormones are usually disrupted by sleep deprivation.
▪️You can’t focus as well when you’ve not had enough sleep. And your mood is probably affected as well.
▪️Lack of sleep also results in decreased athletic performance.
▪️Sleeping less than 7-8 hours per night is linked to a higher risk for heart disease and stroke.
▪️Sleep affects glucose metabolism and type 2 diabetes risk in as little as 6 days.
▪️Depression is linked to poor sleep.
Soooo my point is, get enough rest! I took a 4 hour nap after the basketball tournament today.♥️🤣
