I absolutely love jewelry which was created for a reason, or has a story to tell. I found these cute pins so had to dig in and found them in the history of none other than but the amazing van cleef and arpels archives.
In 1954, Van Cleef & Arpels opened “La Boutique” at 22 Place Vendôme. Initially intended to offer a younger and more accessible line of jewelry to a broader range of clientele, “La Boutique” introduced cartoon-style animal clips that added a playful note to the Maison’s creations.
These charming little clips made delightful gifts, even icons such as Grace Kelly and Jackie Kennedy Onassis couldn’t resist collecting them. @shwetarj #thankyouforposting @lusso_all_things_luxury #luxury #lussoatl #luxuryfashion #fashion #pins #luxurypins #lapelpins @vancleefarpels #vancleefarpels
