Derrick, hubby and I are enjoy waking up early on Sundays. Being able to slowly wake up, play a little Madden Football and explore Pinterest with coffee in hand before heading to swim lessons and the store. I just love moments like these πŸ’•

I feel like we have been non-stop this week since arriving back in town from Northern Cal. Our emotions, stress levels, and relationship/family goals have surely been tested (which we anticipated)... but it seems no matter how much you expect it, you can never seem 100% ready & confident for it. .
I'm happy to say the storm has passed- our boat is at dock- and we are at peace!! Life is full of hurdles and I know there are more ahead (some big, some small). I know I am not perfect- but I choose to look at my imperfections and grow from them. I have learned the importance to give myself a little grace from time to time, stay patient and rely on my faith to get us to the the end. πŸ™

When your pre-workout kicks in and you don't want to do it πŸ€¦πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ do it anyway. πŸ‘‰πŸΌ When your 35 minute workout turns into a 50 minute workout because you have to keep talking yourself out of a negative mindset. ⏰ When you have 5 minutes left of your workout, your running late and just want to turn it off. FINISH THE WORKOUT. πŸ‘‰πŸΌ when you are so close to the finish line don't throw in the towel because the last leg of the race is uphill. .
Successful people do hard things!! Successful people don't quit with 5 minutes left, they see the silver lining, they trust the process and no matter how messy the journey gets they believe without a shadow of doubt that they will be successful! So push harder today and even if at the end of the day it doesn't feel like you made progress. I bet you will see the fruits of your labors soon enough!! Get focused!!! Cheers to another successful Miracle Morning β˜•οΈ

I know you've e read about me doing them and have seen me post about getting up at the butt crack of dawn... but WHY?!? One thing I know for sure -- WE ARE ALL BUSY. Everyone, including myself has a 1001 things to get done in 24 hours, sometimes fitting in WAY more than we can handle. Becoming extremely frustrated and stressed by not "having time"-- so I invested in the book Miracle Morning by Hal Elroy (even available in audible). He talks about the simple action of waking up earlier and getting the things done that always got pushed to the back burner because you didn't "have time". Such as: working out, personal development, meditation, etc. .
So being a full time Nurse + a mom of 2 boys (ages 6 and 4) whine are involved in baseball and football + a wife -- I stopped using BUSY as an excuse and instead made it my reason to wake up earlier! (Even if it means 4:30 am 😜). .
Highly recommend trying it (get the book first) and see if it could change your life too!! πŸ™‡β€β™€οΈ#happyhealthymom #miraclemorning

You will never arrive at the final destination - you will always improve, fine tune and adjust as life changes!! .
Learn to roll with the punches and take care of yourself first. It's just like the flight attendant says right before take off... Put your own oxygen mask on first before helping others.
