Food • 8 • service • 6 • atmosphere • 7 • presentation • 7• $$ Last Thursday night we treated ourselves to a mid week feast at Lucky Lupitas on O'Connell Street. We arrived around 6.30 and were pretty much the only diners. Half an hour the restaurant was packed! Take note... Between the five of us we ordered the following: nachos, guac, hot corn of the cob (must get), slow cooked pork ribs, crispy chicken fajitas, white mushroom fajitas, pulled beef brisket burrito, smoky pulled beef enchilada, grilled prawn taco, grilled chicken burrito, flan de cajeta (creme caramel) and banana mousse.
IT WAS A LOT OF FOOD! And it was all so satisfying. Plates and plates just kept filling the table... what an experience. We also had a cocktail each - I opted for the peach margarita which was glorious (highly recommended). We never made it Lupitas in the burbs so we can't really compare the two. However, what we can say is the Lupitas in the posh burb of North Adelaide did turn it on. The decor, the food, the drinks, the dessert, the locale - all aces. We'll be back :) #luckylupitas #northadelaide #mexican #tacothursday 🌮 #areyouamexicanoramexicant #foodie #instafood #adelaide
