In the company of good friends, both old and new, while listening to the genius words from real estate mogul guest speaker Rick Santos, Chairman & CEO of Santos-Knight-Frank at the Tower Club. Imagine, I haven’t seen Illac Diaz in ages.
This is a group of over a hundred strong men who are mostly captains of industries in their respective fields be it in real estate, banking, transportation, etc. I’ve been friends with more than half of the members of this group since more than I could remember including our fathers before us.
My late father’s shoes in the automotive manufacturing industry are really big shoes to fill but, I am not here to simply fill them up but rather to build on top of them to honor his and his brothers’ hardwork and legacy.
There really is a group where you feel that you belong no matter how long you have been missing in action while taking it easy in an isolated part of the world where everything is slow (including the internet.. 😁) that when you get back, it is as if nothing happened and you just pick-up where you took off. It made me wonder why I even did that in the first place when there is so much more in life to experience and so many more souls in the world that we could touch.
Thank you my friend, Jay Tambunting, for bringing me in yesterday. It’s been years since I last visited the club. It was still Mandarin days of which the building is already nowhere to be found. It was that long! Regards to Tito Jun Tambunting, who was absent. Hehe. See you next week. 👍🏻
