The LSU College of Science welcomed talented high school students in the Upward Bound program today! I want to thank three very talented undergraduates from our college who gave a panel presentation—Abigayle Hodges from Geology & Geophysics, Kaitlin Griffin from Chemistry and Nicholas Welsch from Physics & Astronomy. These students discussed the “why” and “what” regarding their majors, future plans, and undergraduate research.
The students also heard about planning for a career in the health sciences from our talented counselor Shallene Joseph. it was a great afternoon, even with all of the rain!
