Still figuring out this low histamine trial. In the mason jar is frozen cooked ground turkey(labeled this batch of jars LH low histamine so I know it was prepped and frozen quickly just in case there are some other jars lurking in my freezer.)
Packed that frozen jar with roasted sweet potato and asparagus. Also packed my @kouzinifoods olive oil mini to add a little extra healthy fat to keep me full. Brought a Granny Smith apple just in case I need it though it is more carb than I am used to. Need to do some shopping soon.

Dinner is @nomnompaleo s #cracklinchicken My husband cooks it on our grill in cast iron skillets. Haven't been eating chicken skin lately since I have been following a mainly #lowhistaminediet but decided to give this a try. Crossing my fingers!! (Missing emoji!)

Beautifully refreshing ginger and green tea kombucha for a hot day. This is a throw back to a couple weeks ago on my holiday in the beautiful Byron Bay when I had this with a delicious breakfast @bayleafcafe kombucha is a living drink with beneficial bacteria to help your gut health. However, having had an appointment with my daughter yesterday, she has been advised to start a low histamine diet in which case fermented foods and drinks are off the menu. It just shows that everyone is unique and what is healthy for one may not be for another. I love watercress! It's very low histamine, in fact it has been known to lower histamine levels in the body. I like eating it fresh on top of my veggie stirfrys, but you can cook them into stirfrys too if the taste is too bitter for you raw. This is me sensually stroking a sprig of thyme lol. I eat thyme in my stirfrys almost every day. It's known to reduce histamine responses in the body and just have an overall anti inflammatory effect. Thyme has also been known to have an anti bacterial effect and help people with SIBO or other overgrowths of bad bacteria. I know some people who are extremely histamine intolerant cannot tolerate most fresh herbs. I am extremely histamine intolerant at the moment but for whatever reason I seem to be able to tolerate most fresh herbs I try.
