Monash has discovered that apples are green 20-25 gram depending on the apple. So I made apple crumble. First time in 3,5 years I taste apple. And I loved this pie. Had pasta and homemade tomato sauce tonight for dinner while everyone else had Chinese 😭
Was honestly really nice though! The sauce was made using chopped tomatoes, Passata, mixed herbs, chilli flakes and salt and pepper to taste! Added a mountain of cheese too of course🧀🧀 #fodmap #fodmapfriendly #lowfodmapdiet #lowfodmap #glutenfree #lowfodmaprecipe #lowfodmapliving

I can’t believe we’ve managed to have our Sunday roast in the garden in October! Today my grandma cooked us the most tender beef followed by a homemade fruit pavlova. A lovely chilled Sunday in the sun to start the half term... 😃

**Long half rant/half triumph post ahead**

Yesterday I ate something that really didn't agree with me. Maybe I was tired, or too hungry but I just didn't think about checking the ingredients in the lunch I ordered and scoffed it happily oblivious. Well after 9 weeks of #lowfodmapliving I had a fecking #ibsattack. I was crippled by cramps from midnight to 3am and had a few urgent visits to the loo this morning. Its now midday and I still feel like shite, my guts in knots. The old me would have used this as an excuse not to excersise today. But when I got my #ibs diagnosis 3 months ago it came with some other scary health news so I used it as the catalyst get my arse in gear and try to create healthy habits. Finding what works for you individually is clearly the key because I've discovered that I like interval training. Doing it regularly I now believe excuses not to get moving are generally bollocks (and I feel guilty when I don't... This is new 🤔). So this morning I just chose to get on with it and smash out a 40 minute #hittworkout from @teambodyproject. I don't think I would have found the motivation to work out regularly without #teambodyproject, I've found my "cult" as I like to joke to people. And it works. In 9 weeks I've lost 7.5kgs and an overall 22cms (being way more conscious of what eat plays a big part too of course). We hosted a gathering last night. I did NOT resist the Brie. I LOVE Brie. I assumed I was being a bad girl and would pay for it today but was pleasantly surprised to open the Monash app and see Brie is ok in small portions.
