FIRST AB EXERCISE: LOWER ABS: LEGS RAISES (first video)This exercise is very simple but can be done in the garden, in your bedroom or anywhere with space. You do not need a gym!!!! 🔆

3 sets of 30 seconds!!!! 1 rep is 25 seconds of legs raises to 5 seconds pulsing immediately after. if you need to rest in between sets, take a 10 second break!
It is very important to keep your back flat on the floor and your legs as straight as possible 😊 🔆

EASIER OPTION: ALTERNATING LEG RAISES (second video)
This exercise is to focus on trying to lower each leg separately as far as possible without touching the ground. It still works the same muscles just slightly easier 😊

Throwback #flexfriday - 2 years ago when I had crazy #shreds 😳

I wanted to see if I could achieve a more defined lower body, but in order to do that my upper body (due to my genetics and where I naturally store fat) had to get ridiculously lean! 😳🙈 You can work hard and eat hard to massively change your physique for sure... but at the end of the day you can’t change your genetics. I’ve compromised now and accepted the limits on what I can and can’t change 😌

I absolutely love a gym selfie, I mean the lightings at the gym were probably installed for that purpose. I used to feel embarrassed taking photos or recording my workouts in a gym full of people. Now I see more and more people filming their workouts and taking selfies in between sessions whilst appreciating the development of their gains and tight abs. (Duh!)

I began intermittent fasting about a year ago. It changed my life. During the time I was adjusting to this new lifestyle, everyone around me tried to sabotage me. Not out of malicious intent, but simply because it was not the norm. I’ve learned that those closest to you tend to get uncomfortable when you make certain lifestyle changes. Especially those which will level you up. •


During the process of change, you’re metaphorically shedding your skin; becoming a new person. Why wouldn’t this scare those around you? My parents thought I was crazy, my friends thought it was weird. So I just shut up about it & carried on. •


Soon enough, the results showed. I have never felt better in my life. There were many times in the beginning, before I’d adjusted, where I found myself physically starving. On top of this, I would hear “that’s not healthy... you’re going to get sick... you’re going to lose all your muscle”. But, I kept going. I kept reminding myself why I was doing it & of all the scientific literature I’d read on fasting. I would even rewatch videos or reread articles to remind myself that I wasn’t killing myself. Turns out, I haven’t gotten ‘sick’ since & the muscle is still here, plus more. •


Everyone thinks they know what’s best for you. I’m not saying ignore everyone & hard-headidly go about life... but don’t let the outside voices be louder than your inner voice. Sometimes you have to endure the criticism of everyone you love & care about to be the best you can be. Entrepreneurship works the same way... funny. •


Keep on your path & always keep an open mind. Be willing to change, even if it will startle those you hold closest to your heart. They will always love you in the end.
