We love a challenging site.... this gap site in Wyre Piddle, was a patch of land which had a steep slope down to a river! The site was really difficult for all of the trades, but especially for the groundworkers, who had to form the various levels.⠀

Interesting concept right? The body has three energy bank accounts where it derives energy from. 🏦 💰
Carbohydrates and sugar are much like our chequing account. This is the first place the body draws from for energy. If there is nothing there or the body has an intolerance to one or both of these, it won’t be able to be used for energy so the body draws from its savings account...B vitamins and iron. 💵
If the body is depleted or intolerant to B vitamins and iron then the it is forced to withdraw from its RSP’s which is the adrenals. Relying on stress hormones to get the body up and moving. At this point the body has used up all other resources and it’s relying on it’s last hope for energy.

Let’s keep our bodies in balance and in turn, keep those bank accounts full so we don’t have to deplete the accounts that should be for emergency situations only. If you’re struggling with low energy, this might help explain why.

Designing in a shading device, like an external 'Brise Soleil' could avoid those uncomfortable internal environments. Location🌎, high summer sun☀️ and low winter sun all need to be reviewed to achieve the Brise soleil's optimum overhang and louvre angle.
