A quick stop outside a small village in the south of France. We were en route to St. Tropez and my friend snapped this photo. I can still remember the feeling being relaxed yet energetic from the sun and the fresh air, the fresh vegetables and fish we had for lunch. Some of that energy and relaxation no doubt came from the feeling of being on holiday with few responsibilities, but tasty clean food and fresh air can work wonders. I try to keep these holiday benefits in mind in my everyday life - making time for exercise, fresh air and eating well even if I don’t feel I have the time. Even just a short walk outdoors, doing a few minutes of walking meditations gives me a sense of respite and space in my day. I try to make a fresh salad every day and have a homemade smoothie - usually my own recipe for a brain-boosting keto antioxidant smoothie (link in bio) - it’s packed with nutrients and keeps me going throughout the day. I also use it as a way to incorporate Brain Octane into my diet for mental clarity and getting rid of that foggy feeling. Between my smoothie and my devotion to a daily walk and fresh air, I’m able to capture some of that holiday energy and respite in my everyday life! How do you create relaxation and energy in your day?
