🍏 As I’m sure many of you guys are familiar with, perhaps even do on occasion, the age old ‘Diet starts Monday’ is still rife. I hear it every week & often from those I expect the least. You see, Monday’s a myth. Same as ‘tomorrow, next week, after the holidays’, you get the gist.

📝 The thing is, when there’s a deadline, it’s amazing how much can cram, panic write & still get things done. The issue for many of us is that our health, nutrition & fitness isn’t really set with a strict time limit in mind. The result? Never realty getting started & the tragedy is, so many are left in limbo for years.

📖 In one of my recent purchases, James Clear sets out the differences between ‘Action’ & ‘Motion’ in Atomic Habits. It’s brilliant & we can all relate to this mistake. Ok, so let’s look at the difference between the two.

🏃🏻‍♂️ Motion is the illusion of doing things. It’s looking up healthy recipes to cook, it’s messaging local coaches in your area, it’s scheduling meals each day & browsing workouts to try out too. It appears decent & has good intentions, but it’s not actually doing anything.

👇🏻 Action is key. Action is hiring a PT/nutritionist & working out or eating well. It’s going shopping for your meals & it’s actually cooking the dinners you had planned.

👀 Here’s the thing, I’ve been here myself & I’ve come to realise that at least for me, it’s a fear of failure, of embarrassing myself or of not being successful 1st time round. But here’s a truth we can all benefit from, failing is not only good, it’s essential.

🤳🏻 Take the business for example, I spent 5 months this time last year watching entrepreneurial Youtube videos, following Gary Vee & friends on Instagram & talking about starting but I never did.
-
📈 The progress I’ve made has come from knowing I’ll fail, being comfortable with being uncomfortable as hell & being consistent no matter what.

⏳ Getting in shape is no different & time can either be your friend or foe too.

👪 17 Stücke / 2 Laibe ⏰ ca. 2 h
💃#mariiannsfoodcreations
📝 Zutaten:
HEFETEIG
✅250g Dinkelmehl
✅50g Haselnusswhey z.b. von @blacklinetwo
✅2 große Bananen ca. 216g
✅21g frische Hefe + 1TL Xucker
✅10g Kokosöl
✅1 EL Zitronensaft
✅Haselnuss Flavedrops
SCHOKOCREME
✅ 30g Haselnuss Flavepowder z.b. von @blacklinetwo + 70ml Wasser

⏩Hefe zerbröseln und mit Xucker und einem TL lauwarmen Wasser ca. 10 Minuten gehen lassen
⏩ derweil Bananen, Zitronensaft und Kokosöl pürieren
⏩ alle trockenen Zutaten mit Bananenmix und Hefe vermischen und mit der Küchenmaschine einige Minuten gut durchkneten
⏩den teig an einem warmen Ort für ca. 1h 15 Minuten gehen lassen
TIPP: einfach auf die Heizung stellen
⏩ den Teig mit etwas Mehl nochmal gut durchkneten und ausrollen
⏩mit der Schokocreme bestreichen
⏩ in drei Stücke teilen und jeweils einrollen
⏩die drei Stränge verflechten. Etweder ganz oder geteilt auf ein Backblech legen und für 20 Minuten bei 175 Grad backen
⏩auskühlen lassen, in Scheiben schneiden und GENIEßEN

I discovered these today and they are an absolute blinder. 96 calories and it tastes just like the nougaty bit of a double decker so absolutely hits the spot when I want something sweet and chocolatey 🤤🙌🏻 Edit - I picked them up for 99p for a box of five in Home Bargains. Going back for 20 boxes tomorrow 😂
