First of all, I am 💯 okay. Now my blood sugar is 100.➡️➡️🦄 When I post something about the [literal] highs and lows of diabetes, I tend to get a ton of messages checking on me. I really appreciate the love, but this is simply part of the disease. Spreading awareness, educating, and fighting for funding for a #curefordiabetes are my main goals.
Anyways, I am practicing what I preach, this morning, and taking some time to love/heal my body.
If you have #t1diabetes , you know what an out-of-nowhere , prolonged #highbloodsugar will make you feel like... 🤕😴😤. Also, it leaves a gross, icky, nasty, foul, yuck taste in your mouth, which makes consuming the extra fluids you need to flush out #ketones not so desirable. (My momma friends also know how a high blood sugar makes you feel... #pregnancyglucosetest anyone). Thanks to my girl @amemcdowell for suggesting that I add some healthy flavor to my water, I am not choking it down, but rather enjoying sipping on glass number 4 😛🤤. #byeketones #byefelicia
