"If humans had radio antennas instead of ears, we would hear a remarkable symphony of strange noises coming from our own planet. Scientists call them "tweeks," "whistlers" and "sferics." Earth's natural radio emissions are real and, although we're mostly unaware of them, they are around us all the time" -NASA.gov
Most of these very low-frequency (VLF) sounds come from lightning. For example, even if there is no lightning in your area, lightning is striking somewhere on Earth nearly all the time (about 100 times per second)- and you can still hear the VLF crackles of storms thousands of miles away. .
Although we cannot hear these sounds with our ears, many believe we can absorb their vibrations and energy when walking in natural areas- providing harmony and relaxation. 🙏
