Today I’m sharing a short, sharp total body workout that you can do anywhere, anytime in just 10 mins minutes ( no equipment required! ) , + a light, fresh, creamy, dreamy, perfectly spiced, {banana free} gonger-berry super smoothie👯💪❤️😅✨🍑🥥🍦✨

So here's what we are going to do;
.
4 exercises;
.
✳️ Air Squats
✳️ Jumping Lunges (or just stationary lunges if jumping’s not your thing)
✳️ Push Ups
✳️ Crunches
.
We will do 6 rounds total decreasing reps each round (count reps per leg for lunges) .
.
For example;
.
Round 1 = 20 reps each
.
Round 2 = 16 reps each then  12 – 8 – 4 and finishing strong with one final round of 20 reps each, resting as needed along the way, sound good?

4 hours into our 6 hour hike, I said “aren’t you just so happy that our bodies allow us to do this?!” About 100 feet from the summit, I was winded, my legs were heavy and I wanted to quit but we kept on.
.
We take it all for granted. That our legs are powerful and willful enough to trek up into the mountains. That our lungs effortlessly fill with air.
.
We head to the gym and do reps of stuff... and most of us never stop for one second to even thank our bodies for allowing us to live our lives. This is what the gym is for. For your life. Not for any other thing but training to live your best damn life.
.
I’ve always been thankful that my body is an abled one- not all are. But I’ve never been *this* grateful. And I can’t wait to go back to day to day life with an even deeper-rooted appreciation for this body and all of its abilities.

I’m exited to get back into the gym for no other reason than to continue training for a life well lived. #perspective

My body only moved in one plane of motion yesterday.. up a mountain and forward. And lemme tell ya, I am not a spring chicken anymore so I am feeling it!

I woke up with the sun this morning and after a cup (fine, 2 cups) of coffee- I moved sideways and then opened my hips up a bit.
.
This is one way to use movement as medicine. You could pop an Advil to make the discomfort go away or you can move in ways your body needs to move. Guess what? I instantly felt less tight and less achy.
.
While this vacation has been far from a sedentary one (we’ve been moving more here than we do at home!) I’ve never really been the kind of girl to exercise while on vacation. Move- yes. Exercise? No.
.
We have another hike today, then a longer stretch in the car to our next stop. Let’s see if we can top yesterday’s movement with almost 30,000 steps 😂🤪

Today I’m sharing one of my fave short, sharp total body workouts that you can get in and get done in around 20 minutes (with or without equipment, totally your call) + a creamy, dreamy {banana free} golden spiced mango lassi 👯💪❤️😅✨🍑🥥🍦✨

So here's what we are going to do;

A descending ladder workout which simply means we will start by completing 10 reps of each exercise (count reps per leg/side for lunges, mountain climbers & twists ) and continue to decrease reps, each round, until we get down to 1 , make sense?

We will do ;
.

✳️ Curtsy Lunges
✳️ Push Ups
✳️ Mountain Climbers
