#pachamama #motherearth let's us thrive off of her body, energy, elements... what have we done to thank her? We have hurt her by digging for oil, cutting down trees, using up all her resources. When does it stop? When we are all dead? #selflove is not only about loving oneself but also loving all of every living being on this planet and Universe, as we are all connected. All creation, including animals, plants, insects and things that we cannot see. Including Mother Earth.
I was watching a documentary last night called "after the flood" and it just reminded me of the open wound that exists on our planet. We are destroying ourselves at a rapid pace and most of us are in denial about it.
I'm not helping by driving my car, using electricity and gas for cooking, but I do try and offset by doing other things such as not buying single use plastics, recycling what I can, growing my own food, supporting local farmers, not buying what I don't need! All of these things add up to our carbon footprint.
What can we do!? Wow it really is so overwhelming at this point that I don't even know. I feel like we would all have to agree to stop living the way we've been living and shift as a whole. Will that ever happen? Who knows, but I will keep speaking up about my passion for Mother Earth because I love her, I love you, and I love myself -M 🌍💚✨🌱❤️
